FinScape Global was established to address one of the world’s greatest challenges: financing nature at the scale required to meet global biodiversity and climate goals. We work with governments, development institutions, conservation organizations, investors, and private sector actors to structure and scale nature-positive investments. With extensive experience across Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, our team brings together expertise in climate finance, biodiversity markets, blended finance, project development, and institutional partnerships.

Our Founder
Charles Karangwa
Founder & Managing Director
Former Global Head of Nature-Based Solutions at IUCN and incoming Global Head of the International Tropical Forest Governance Centre at the European Forest Institute. With over 18 years of institutional experience across 56 countries, Charles has managed portfolios exceeding €285 million and worked directly across all three Rio Conventions.
His experience forms the institutional foundation of FinScape Global.
